Jesus says, "Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back” (Luke 6:38). While God knows we have physical needs, He promises us that if we "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, ...all these things [our physical needs] shall be yours as well" (Matthew 6:33). Let us make the righteousness of God our first pursuit and then be generous, joyful givers (2 Corinthians 9:7, Malachi 3:10).
